As you’d expect from the name, Tony’s is all about good old-fashioned New York-style pizzas.
They even serve their slices on paper plates to make it feel truly authentic.
We suspect that it’s the fact that they let their dough proof for 48 hours before they use it to make delicious pizza that makes all the difference.
Their 18-inch pie is a beautiful thing and it’s the equivalent of a few pizzas rather than one, share it with friends.

Luigi’s Hot Pizza
Luigi’s Hot Pizza is all about authentic Italian cuisine in Bali and their crispy pizza is really delicious.
It’s not the best pizza in Bali but it’s pretty darned good and their party nights are awesome.
We recommend taking your crew with you and sharing a metre-long pizza from their extensive pizza menu.

Pizza Fabbrica
If you want a tasty wood-fired pizza then you can’t go wrong with Pizza Fabbrica.
The base is always crispy at Pizza Fabbrica with just a touch of char to add some flavour and the resulting burrata pizza is a delicate and delicious affair.
One thing we were impressed by on our visit to Pizza Fabbrica, was how they don’t stint on the toppings, the crispy pizza is always balanced by enough topping to make it a pleasure to eat.

Chicago’s Pizza Twist
This tasty little neighbourhood pizzeria is a really solid addition to Canggu’s pizza scene.
They make a tasty Chicago-style pizza with a thick dough that is incredibly good value and you’ll soon be going back for more.
They make a very pleasant vegan menu too though we prefer their vegan pizza to their vegan pastas.
It’s not Italian pizza but it is good pizza. It’s the ideal spot for a payday feed.

Manhattan Slice
If you like New York pizzas then Manhattan Slice may be in the running for your best pizza in Bali award.
This place specializes in huge pizzas and you definitely won’t need any garlic bread to start if you opt for an 18″ pie, in fact, if you eat the whole pizza by yourself, you probably won’t need any more food for a week.
But it’s better to share the pizza and leave some room for their excellent cinnamon pizza which makes for a very sweet treat to end your meal on.

Village Green Canggu
They are more than a pizza house but the Margherita pizza at Village Green was so tasty that they had to go on our list of the best pizza in Bali.
They can compete with the specialist pizza places and still dish up an excellent steak too.
Of course, it’s not an Italian restaurant, so don’t expect tastes of Italy but it’s just perfect for those that don’t mind a little American influence with their pizzas.

This Italian restaurant is known for its excellent Italian food and their pizzas are no exception.
We were really impressed by their range of pastas as well as the extensive pizza menu and we could certainly see ourselves coming back to try more of it.
We recommend the calzone which was really good and a bit of a rarity for pizza places in Southeast Asia.

Garden Canggu by Pizza House
If you come by this Italian restaurant of a morning, they do a hearty breakfast but by lunchtime, everything is about the pizzas.
It’s a solid Italian pizza for a perfectly reasonable price. It’s within walking distance of the beach if you want to walk off your food once you’re done too.
As evening falls, you will find they have live music to accompany the menu and it’s big enough to cope with large parties, particularly if you book ahead.

Irma by Bacaro
This authentic Italian Restaurant is owned and managed by Paolo and he takes real pride in creating a small slice of Italy in Bali.
We had a parma ham and asparagus pizza with a touch of parmesan cheese to the mix and it was delightful.
One thing you can try here which is very unique in the local food scene is the pizza and cheese fondue. Expect to feel very, very full if you go this way.

La Vecchia Tana Bali
If you like good pizza then you’re going to like La Vecchia Tana Bali. They do a lovely red sauce on the base that’s super tasty.
We were very impressed with how efficient the kitchen was and while we went with a large party, everyone was served within twenty minutes of us placing our orders.
The pizza crust is great too and perfect for dipping in sauces. We think they may also have some of the stretchiest molten mozzarella that we’ve ever seen.

Cantina Bali Canggu
The pasta here is every bit as good as the pizza and there’s no disputing that the pizza here is very good indeed.
It’s an upscale joint and the prices reflect that but we thought it represented good value for money.
However, the most memorable thing we had was a beef wagyu roll that was simply incredible and tasty.

This is a general but slightly upmarket restaurant with a lovely terrace for sitting out and enjoying the weather while you eat.
Pizza is just one option on a menu that caters to pretty much every taste and it’s the sort of place we go to when nobody can decide what they want to eat before we sit down.
Try the chilled wine and oysters to start with and then sink your teeth into any pie that grabs your fancy.

This little warung does a great job of combining Indonesian ingredients with the Italian classic.
Try the pizza celeng telor which was one of the most memorable taste experiences that we’ve ever had.

Fucina Pizzeria Cucina Italiana
This Italian-owned pizzeria absolutely delivers an authentic rustic Italian pizza and we absolutely loved it.
Our kids couldn’t stop raving about the Panzerotto Con Salame Piccante afterwards either.

Milk & Madu
Milk & Madu is one of our favourite brunch spots and we were quite surprised to see how many pizzas are on offer here too.
The lamb pizza was our favourite, it was so tasty and brought an unusual twist to a dish that we thought we’d tried every variant of in Bali.
They have a 2-for-1 deal on pizzas on Sundays and Tuesdays, so that might be worth looking out for.

Yes, the Naked Bun is mainly a burger joint (and a pretty good one, we’d say) but they also do an excellent pizza.

Oka’s Bakery & Cafe (Gluten-Free Pizza)
If you’re searching for a vegan & gluten-free pizza in Canggu, there aren’t that many options but Oka’s is here to save you from any hunger pain.s.
We confess that some of us find pizza without actual cheese a bit odd, but those of us who tried the pizza here thought it was pretty good and the tomato sauce was great.
You can also get bakery items from Oka’s to take home with you, which are also vegan and gluten-free.
