It depends on how you define “nicest” but the most expensive and luxurious area is around Petitenget Beach. The Petitenget Temple is near here, too.
It’s home to some of the finest hotels, and it’s the chief fine dining area in Seminyak, too.
However, all of Seminyak is nice, and most of it is very upscale. The Seminyak beach has become one of the places to be seen by the coolest kids in town.
Where To Stay In Seminyak?
Anywhere that suits your budget and within walking distance of Seminyak Beach or another local beach. There are so many luxury hotels in Seminyak, as well as top-notch mid-range and pricey but excellent budget hotels, that you can’t go wrong, really.
Pick something that you can afford, and that has the best mix of facilities. After all, an outdoor swimming pool is nice, but if you don’t swim, not even a private pool is going to make a hotel any better value for you.
Other things you might want in your ideal location could include a yoga studio, fitness centre, wellness centre, free Wi-Fi access, free valet parking, free private parking, and air-conditioned accommodation. The best luxury hotels have all of them, and most hotels will have some of them.

Seminyak Beach is very luxurious. There are a lot of luxury hotels in Seminyak, but it’s fair to say that Nusa Dua has probably the most luxury resorts, and oddly, Ubud has two of the best resorts in the world.

We’re biased and would say, “Canggu!” That’s because we’re based in Canggu, and we love it.
However, it’s fair to say that while Canggu is now the most popular hip hangout on the island, Seminyak and the Seminyak Beach area are still great places to be, and there are probably more luxury hotels in Seminyak for now than there are in Canggu.
Is It Better To Stay In Seminyak Or Legian?
That really depends on you. Legian and Kuta are the most popular parts of Bali, but they can be a bit too crowded at times, and there are more luxury hotels in Seminyak than in the other two areas (though neither is exactly short of private villas, and each has some of the best hotels in Bali too).

There are so many luxury resorts in Seminyak, the shopping is amazing, and places like Seminyak Square Shopping Mall and Seminyak Village are very desirable places to shop.
