FAQs

Is Coming To Bali Fun For The Whole Family?

Yes! Bali is amazing fun for the whole family, you can enjoy everything from laid-back cultural experience in the fishing villages to mountain climbing to museums and so much more.

We don’t believe that it’s possible to come to Bali and not have fun unless you’re really trying not to have fun.

Is Balinese Culture Family Friendly?

Yes! Balinese people love children and are very welcoming to kids in almost all venues. The only exception to this is the very few adults-only hotels and clubs on the island.

Otherwise, you can go everywhere with your children and they are sure to have a good time.

Are There Any Family-Friendly Hotels In Bali?

It’s very easy to find a family-friendly hotel for a family holiday in Bali. Wherever you are on the island, there’s somewhere suitable with pools, gardens, etc.

We’ve got a guide to the best family-friendly hotels in Bali

Is Balinese Food Too Spicy For Teenagers?

It depends on the teenagers, really. We’d advise going easy to start with in Bali and then letting kids experiment.

Sambal, the famous local sauce, can be quite spicy and you can always ask the restaurant to tone it down a little if they can’t handle the heat.

What’s The Legal Drinking Age In Bali?

The legal drinking age on the island is 21. This is true throughout Indonesia. However, we need to stress that it’s rarely enforced and that a venue may be happy to serve young adults or teenagers.

Bali tends to be very relaxed and as long as things are kept sensible, you may find you get more leeway than you might at home.

Final Thoughts On Keeping Teenagers Entertained In Bali

Bali is a fabulous place to be a teenager. The weather is warm and pleasant all year round, there’s plenty to see and do and most of it is very affordable.

The local people are very welcoming and kind to young visitors and there’s so much variety for them, that they should never feel bored.
