Celuk Village Bali: Silver Handicrafts In Unique And Elaborate Designs

Celuk Village is a famous village in Bai for its silver jewelry and intricate designs using gold and silver craft.

It’s a lovely place with narrow lanes and traditional Balinese architecture in the Gianyar Regency of central Bali.

We love to visit Celuk Village as much for the sense of community that we find here as for the silver jewelry at affordable prices (depending on the cost of raw materials).

You can get earrings, rings, necklaces, bracelets, brooches, and other souvenirs and some of the finest works on the island if you’re looking for investment pieces.

Here’s everything you need to know to plan a trip to Celuk Village.

There is no entrance fee to Celuk Village and you’re welcome to visit the stores and the Balinese Hindu temple in the village without paying any fees.

However, if you want to purchase any gold and silver jewelry, this will, of course, cost (one major factor in the price of anything at Celuk Village is the day trading rate of the gold and silver on the international market – the craftsmen don’t charge very much for their work).

Also, if you want to attend any workshops to make your own gold and silver handicrafts, then you will need to pay for the workshop tuition (from local educators and craftsmen) and the gold and silver that you use.
