The 43 Best Bali Glamping Sites

Capella: Ubud

Capella has won numerous awards as a resort complex, and it’s the kind of glamping Bali experience designed for the discerning and monied traveller.

There are 22 one-bedroom tents here, each with a private saltwater pool. If you’re travelling as a family, don’t worry, there’s a 2-bedroom lodge available too.

As this is a curated experience as much as it is about luxury glamping, you can also undertake a series of “Camp Rangers” activities.

This will see you paying attention to your wellness and engaging in jungle hikes, rice paddy treks, biking through local villages and more.

You can also get spa treatments in their spacious tents and enjoy their 120 square meter lap pool!

Sebatu Sanctuary Eco Resort: Gianyar

If you want your luxury tent to remind you of an African Safari, then Sebatu Sanctuary Eco Resort has you covered.

Luxury glamping here also has the option to use a bamboo pod or even a hobbit treehouse if you’re not in the mood for glamping tents.

We can heartily recommend this tropical glamping Bali destination if you want long romantic walks with someone special and picnics by hidden waterfalls.

It’s also a great place for foodies, and you will even find that they have an excellent vegan menu at this glamping site.

Where Is It? Sebatu, Tegallalang, Gianyar Regency, Bali 80561, Indonesia

Menjangan Dynasty Resort: Buleleng

Bali Beach Glamping is the best-known brand for Beach Glamping, but Menjangan Dynasty Resort gives them some world-class competition in this area.

Menjangan Dynasty Resort uses a safari-style tent on a white sand beach to create the kind of vibe that you’d expect at the best luxury resorts.

Each luxury tent at Menjangan Dynasty Resort has a private deck; if you want a private pool, you can always upgrade to their Cliff Tent Villas.

The Pasir Putih Beach Club & Bar here is about delivering fabulous dining to the occupants of the glamping tents at this lovely site.

Autentik Penida Glamping: Nusa Penida

It’s important to note that if you’re looking for family-friendly glamping in Bali, you won’t find it at Autentik Penida Glamping. This is a strictly adults-only campsite.

Each luxury tent has a private terrace and access to a lovely infinity pool among the lush tropical gardens.

They offer an excellent breakfast as part of the stay, and we were pleased to find that this includes both vegan and vegetarian options.

If you want a charming place that will look great on your Instagram, this might be the place for your glamping Bali experience.

Kubah Bali Glamping: Kintamani

Each luxury tent here looks like a space-age invention that you might see in a Mars colony from the outside, but inside, you’ll find a dome that delivers pure luxury for sleeping in.

Some glamping tents here provide a seating area or terrace, but you need to book the right luxury tent to get these facilities as they are only available for some tents.

They offer free private parking on site, which is very handy, and we like that they offer both an Asian breakfast and an American breakfast, too.

We found their beds to be among the most comfortable of any glamping site in Bali.

Where Is It? Jl. Kedisan Gang Kuli No.96, Kedisan, Kec. Kintamani, Kabupaten Bangli, Bali 80652, Indonesia

Sandat Glamping Tents: Ubud

Glamping Bali experiences get slightly more upmarket than in a luxury tent at Sandat Glamping Tents.

Sandat Glamping Tents are designed in an entirely eco-friendly fashion, and they even have an iPod docking bay to go alongside the minibar and kettle.

Sandat Glamping Tents is a short walk from Ubud Palace and Ubud Market, which means you can get out and explore the area without a car.

If you have a car, though, Sandat Glamping offers free private parking at this site.

Bali Beach Glamping: Tabanan

Bali Beach Glamping is the best-known glamping Bali experience of them all.

They have a great location by the Pig Stone Beach in Tabanan, and they’re set up for large parties, too.

Many a wedding in Bali has taken place at Bali Beach Glamping, and after the ceremony, the happy couple has taken up residence in a luxury tent here.

Bali Beach Glamping is also a half-hour drive from Ngurah Rai International Airport, which is very handy.

Bobocabin: Kintamani

If you’d instead your luxury tent was more like a cabin, then why not consider having a glamping Bali experience at Bobocabin?

Each cabin has a high-tech design to fit seamlessly into the natural environment.

We like their minimalist aesthetic and environmentally friendly approach to holiday living.

They have an onsite warung for food, which can make anything you want with a little advanced notice.

Families can choose deluxe cabins with lakeside views to up the holiday ante.

Lake Garden Bali: Lake Batur

Bali Beach Glamping is glamorous, but this glamping site offers a natural glamour edge over the beach.

This location right on the shores of Lake Batur is simply breathtaking. They also have all the mod cons you’d expect, including an infinity pool.

If you want to go glamping in Bali at the Lake Garden, you should know that they have no restaurants or shops here, so you must stack up on food, drinks, etc., before you arrive at the glamping site.

With only 7 cylindrical pod-like tents available to rent, this is our favourite place to go glamping in Bali when we want to get away from noise, stress and chill.

Where Is It? Jl. Jempana, Songan A, Kec. Kintamani, Kabupaten Bangli, Bali, Indonesia

Natya River Sidemen: Karangasem

This riverside glamping site brings the whole camping without camping concept to new levels.

We like the hammock glamping sites here, which are as close to the stream as possible, and you can enjoy the sounds of running water as you close your eyes to sleep. It’s incredibly relaxing.

The tents have ensuite bathrooms, too, so there will be no sneaking around in the middle of the night trying to find a place to go.

One thing you can do at this fantastic glamping Bali environment that you can’t at any other is go tubing down the river!

Where Is It? dinas, Jalan Pura Sari Jl. Banjar Nagi, Wismakerta, Kec. Sidemen, Kabupaten Karangasem, Bali 80864, Indonesia

Pelaga Eco Park: Pelaga

This wonderful glamping destination is near the Goa Gong Waterfall. Since it’s relatively remote, you may have a fall all to yourselves, so remember your camera for those Instagram snaps!

The resort is also famous for its fantastic BBQ menu, and we can thoroughly recommend it. However, they can quickly whip up some Indonesian dishes if you’re not into BBQ.

If you want a private bathroom, you need to book the deluxe tents here, and if you wish to have a private terrace overlooking the nearby river, you will need a superior tent.

Where Is It? Pelaga, Petang, Badung Regency, Bali 80353, Indonesia

Hideaway Glamping: Kintamani

Few views in Bali are more magical than the early morning look at the foothills of Mount Batur bathed in mists.

That’s what you get at Hideaway Glamping, and as there are only three luxury tents here, you can be confident that you won’t have to share that view with too many people.

An enjoyable pool is shared between the tents here, and we like that each tent offers air conditioning (even though we didn’t need it, Kintamani is cooler than the rest of Bali anyway).

Where Is It? Songan A, Kintamani, Bangli Regency, Bali 80652, Indonesia

Galalima Glamping: Tabanan

We love the freestanding bathtubs in their tents at this ultra-luxury glamping site.

Glamping in Bali only gets a little more beautiful than this venue. However, be warned – it’s not the most accessible place, and you must climb steep steps to get in.

If that’s OK, you’re ready to enjoy the best glamping tent experience for swimming under waterfalls and fishing the local streams!

If you want a memory of glamping in Bali that you’ll never forget, you can even go cliff jumping (the staff at the site will help you do this)!

Where Is It? Jl. Apityeh, Gn. Salak, Kec. Selemadeg Tim., Kabupaten Tabanan, Bali 82162, Indonesia

Sang Giri Mountain Tent Resort: Jatiluwih

Who would want their glamping Bali experience in a UNESCO World Heritage site? That’s what you get with Sang Giri’s Mountain Tent Resort.

There are no doors on the tents here, and they offer a fantastic panoramic view of the local rainforests and the mountains beyond.

The food here uses a lot of edible wild-grown veggies from the rainforest, which comes from their onsite organic garden!

Most people will eat at this glamping site because it’s a 40-minute walk away from other restaurants (but you can always drive out if you have transport).

We love hiking in the natural environment here, and you can find temples, rice fields and traditional Balinese villages galore!

Where Is It? Jalan Sang Giri Hills, Jatiluwih Kangin – Pura Luhur, Jatiluwih, Kec. Penebel, Kabupaten Tabanan, Bali 82152, Indonesia

Bali Sunrise Hill Camp & Glamping: Kintamani

If you want your glamping Bali experience to include a dip in a natural hot spring pool, then the Bali Sunrise Camp will be on your list of glamping sites.

Leave it until late in the day, and you can enjoy your dip under a beautiful canopy of stars, free from the city’s light pollution.

One thing you should know about this destination is that you’re welcome to keep furry friends in your glamping tent, which is excellent for pet owners!

We like that they can also arrange a lovely candlelight dinner for a romantic getaway.

Bali Cliff Glamping: Seraya

What could be more dramatic than glamping in Bali on the edge of a cliff facing the beauty and majesty of Mount Rinjani?

That’s precisely what you get when you opt for Bali Cliff Glamping in Seraya.

We loved the infinity pool directly on the oceanfront at Bali Cliff Glamping and could have spent all day lounging around in their bean bag chairs on the green, grassy lawn.

Bali Cliff Glamping is one of the island’s most desirable experiences, and we can easily see why.

This lovely little glamping resort in Nusa Penida delivers some excellent facilities, and each tent has a private bathroom, including a decent walk-in shower.

They have a car rental service if you want to get around the island and a year-round outdoor pool to enjoy when you stay in the tent.

It’s also a short walk from Sun Sun Beach, which is one of the big draws of island life in Bali.

Batan Nyuh Retreat: Gianyar

If you opt for a luxury tent at this glamping Bali destination, you can also opt for a fully halal breakfast.

It has some of the best spa and wellness facilities in any glamping site, and the large public bath is pretty cool, too.

We recommend using their bicycle rental service to secure a bicycle to explore the local fields and villages.

Where Is It? Jl. Subak batan nyuh, Jl. Banjar Timbul-Pupuan, Pupuan, Kec. Tegallalang, Kabupaten Gianyar, Bali 80561, Indonesia

The Dewi Kintamani: Kintamani

If you want your glamping Bali experience to bring you fantastic mountain views from your sun terrace, then this is the place to be.

Each tent has a fully equipped private bathroom, which includes a shower and all the toiletries you might need.

They also have a wide variety of tasty breakfast options, and that’s a beautiful thing among the glamping sites in Bali.

Where Is It? Jl. Song Dikit, Songan A, Kec. Kintamani, Kabupaten Bangli, Bali 80652, Indonesia

Ubud Tropical: Ubud

If you need more than glamping accommodations, you can opt for a dormitory room alongside the tents at Ubud Tropical.

You can upgrade to a tent with a private sun terrace here or opt for one with a private patio instead.

We loved the river views from the doorstep of our tent at this lovely location.

Where Is It? F7XC+WX8, Jl. Raya Andong Petulu, Ubud, Gianyar, Petulu, Kecamatan Ubud, Denpasar, Bali 80571, Indonesia

Da’Kayu Glamping: Munduk

Glamping in Bali only gets a little more authentic than the facilities at Da’Kaya Glamping.

These Balinese-inspired tents sit in the rice fields and offer spectacular views of the local rainforests.

We very much appreciated that each tent came with its own private seating area to dine in.

Cloud Hills Glamping in Bali has some beautiful mountain views, as you might expect, and unusually, it also has a private fireplace for guests.

There’s free private parking on site, and Cloud Hills Glamping also provides excellent bathroom facilities.

It’s far out from anywhere else, though, and if you don’t want to be dependent on the restaurant there, you should take some snacks with you.

They have super tents with garden views that make you feel very relaxed.

Bugo Camp Glamping & Natural Activity: Munduk

We love the elegant tents at this glamping in Bali destination, and their tile-protected triangle sides look fantastic on Instagram.

Where Is It? Jl. Asah Gobleg, Gobleg, Kec. Banjar, Kabupaten Buleleng, Bali 81152, Indonesia

Popitan Garden Campground & Glamping: Bedugul

We’re curious if this glamping in Bali site offers tents or cains that are simply in the shape of tents, and we’re not that bothered.

The incredible mountain views are more than enough to justify a trip here, and the fact that each room has a flat-screen TV and private bathroom is a total win.

There’s free private parking here too, which is very handy if you use their car rental service.

Where Is It? Jl. Mawar 2 Br. Kembang Merta, Candikuning, Kec. Baturiti, Kabupaten Tabanan, Bali 82191, Indonesia

Ocean Glamping Penida: Nusa Penida

This Nusa Penida-based glamping in Bali resort is just a few hundred meters away from the ocean (and you can watch the waves from the doorway of your tent).

Start each day with a hearty Asian breakfast before heading to the beach to catch some rays and enjoy the Balinese weather to the full.

Where Is It? 7HCP+28X, Suana, Nusa Penida, Klungkung Regency, Bali 80771, Indonesia

Kintamani Adventures “Life Hurt, Nature Heal”: Kintamani

The catchphrase of this lovely luxury tent resort in Bali is “Life Hurt, Nature Heal” and it’s got a wellness focus on all that they do.

You can choose which kind of breakfast you want each day, from continental to vegetarian, which is a nice touch too.

It’s quite a long drive from the airport, so you might not want to stay here on your first night in Bali.

Balian Prana Lodge Treehouse Glamping: Selemadeg

Who hasn’t dreamed of sleeping in a beautiful treehouse as part of a glamping in Bali experience? And that’s precisely what you get here.

The treehouse can accommodate four guests in its two bedrooms and two private bathrooms, too!

There’s an exceptional view of the Indian Ocean from the front of the treehouse, and two villas are available if the treehouse is booked out when you arrive.

Where Is It? Selemadeg, Bali

Jempana View Glamping Domes & Luxury Tents: Kintamani

Jempana View is one of the most exciting glamping in Bali destinations because the little orange dome tents by the water look awesome.

It’s close to the world-famous Tegallang Rice Terraces, and you can easily use it as your base to venture into Ubud and see what’s there.

We found the beds very comfortable and loved that there’s a desk in each tent, too. Digital nomads will be in their element.

Where Is It? Jl. Songan Jl. Jempana No.6, Songan A, Kec. Kintamani, Kabupaten Bangli, Bali 80652, Indonesia

Triyana Resort & Glamping: Kabupaten Badung

This resort also offers some attractive dome-style tents, and if you’re willing to pay for an upgrade, you can get a private pool or freestanding bath.

We like that each tent has a balcony to enjoy the views of the lovely location and that there’s air conditioning in each of them too.

We’d recommend renting a bicycle to explore the local rice terraces.

Where Is It? H64F+JJH, Jl. Tukad Ayung XIX, Carangsari, Kec. Petang, Kabupaten Badung, Bali 80353, Indonesia

Private Airship Dome: Kecamatan Kuta Selatan

This is one of the most unique locations in Bali, and it comes at a reasonably hefty price tag.

However, it also has a PlayStation, a library of board games, a private pool with an ocean view, a sauna and a jacuzzi.

The elegant glass dome structure ensures you always have the most amazing views of the area. We’d book this for a special romantic occasion, not as an everyday holiday stay.

Where Is It? Pecatu, South Kuta, Badung Regency, Bali 80362, Indonesia

Luxury One-Bedroom Outpost Tent: Kecamatan Kediri

This relatively upscale tent is the only one of its kind and has a private infinity pool to enjoy as part of its offering.

If you want a romantic view of the sunset to share with someone special, then you’ll love this location, and it’s not that expensive, either.

However, its location is a secret and only divulged after you book.

Where Is It? Disclosed After Booking.

Bubble Hotel: Nyang Nyang

This luxury glamping site is on par with many of Bali’s most upmarket hotels, with incredible views.

It’s on the beachfront at Nyang Nyang Beach and within a short walk of the local restaurant and cafe.

However, it would be best if you walked from the car park to the hotel (and it takes about 20 minutes and 30 minutes back) so it’s not ideal for people with mobility problems.

We like this hotel so much that it features on our best honeymoon hotels in Bali list for newlyweds.

Where Is It? Puri bali nyang nyang Resort, Jl. Raya Uluwatu Pecatu, Pecatu, South Kuta, Badung Regency, Bali 80361, Indonesia

Maha Gangga Valley: Tirta Gangga

If you want a rural glamping location in the heart of Bali, then you might be looking for the Maha Gangga Valley.

The stunning garden here is a beautiful feature; we also found the swimming pool pretty good.

The thatched roof tent pods, however, are the star of the show, and they’ll look awesome in your Instagram feed.

Where Is It? HHVR+C6W, Jl. Raya Tirta Gangga, Ababi, Kec. Abang, Kabupaten Karangasem, Bali 80852, Indonesia

Richland Bali: Bedugul

If you’re a couple looking to make your budget go as far as possible, this romantic glamping in Bali spot could be fantastic.

Where Is It? Jl. Mawar 2, Candikuning, Kec. Baturiti, Kabupaten Tabanan, Bali 82191, Indonesia

Rejeng Garden Camp: Kintamani

This site is one of the cheapest glamping options in Bali, and you can’t go wrong with the price, considering it includes breakfast.

However, the tents are more roomy here than other locations on our list.

Where Is It? Jl. Pendakian Gn. Batur, Batur Tengah, Kec. Kintamani, Kabupaten Bangli, Bali 80353, Indonesia

N’Jung Bali Camp: Kintamani

If you want to make your glamping in Bali budget stretch, but you still want amazing Instagram shots, you can head to N’Jung Bali Camp.

FAQs

Is Glamping In Bali Expensive?

It depends on the kind of Glamping Bali experience you want. Some locations provide high-end luxury tents, and companies like Bali Beach Glamping and Bali Cliff Glamping, for example, are more expensive.

However, it’s possible to enjoy glamping tents in Bali without going luxury glamping, and some resorts are as little as $20-25/night.

How Do I Book A Glamping Experience In Bali?

If you want to book a Glamping Bali experience, contact our friends at the Bali Res Centre.

They’ll know a lot about each glamping site and be able to give you valuable recommendations on suitable glamping tents and which of the many Bali glamping sites might be the best for your holiday.

They’ll also have up-to-date info on whether the site is open or closed or if there’s anything in the area that might interfere with your relaxing break.

And because they’re local, Bali Res Centre can get you an excellent rate deal, too.

Is Glamping In Bali Worth It?

That’s down to you. We find that staying in luxury tents is as good as being in a luxury hotel room, but only some agree.

It also depends on the glamping site and how well-aligned it is to your needs.

Many of the glamping Bali experiences have fantastic onsite facilities, and you can easily enjoy an infinity pool or fitness centre along with your luxury tent.

Final Thoughts On Bali Glamping

Luxury glamping is a massive deal for holidaymakers, and Bali will be noticed on that front. Glamping in Bali is one of the best ways to enter nature and appreciate the island’s beauty.

There are so many glamping sites and excellent glamping tents here that you’re bound to have a great time with your glamping experience.
