How To Get To Wanagiri Hidden Hill

There are a few options for getting to and from Wanagiri Hidden Hill, depending on where you’re coming from and what your plan of action is.

  • Private Car and Driver – Hiring a private car and driver is a great option, whether you’re travelling solo or with a group. You can tailor-make a day trip, with your driver waiting while you explore nearby attractions.

It’s some distance from areas like Canggu, Seminyak and Sanur, and more so from Uluwatu, so if you’re coming from that area, then you’ll want to consider booking a driver for two days and staying the night (this can also be fun, some of the drivers are great to hang out with in the evening).

  • Guided Tour – Joining a guided tour is ideal for solo travellers or those who prefer a hassle-free experience. The itinerary is planned out for you, and it’s a great way to meet fellow tourists.

The main downside is having less control over the schedule.

  • Motorbike And Scooter Hire – hiring a motorbike or scooter is always a tempting idea…the sense of freedom, exploration, the wind blowing against your face…but, here at FINNS, we always recommend against it.

It’s unlikely that you’ll be road legal, leaving you open to problems from both the police and insurance, were you to have an accident.

Expect breathtaking panoramic views of Lakes Buyan and Tamblingan, surrounded by Bali’s rolling hills, terraced rice fields, and dense forest.

Wanagiri Hidden Hill is famous for its unique photo platforms, including swings hanging over the hillside, birds’ nests perched on bamboo structures, and elevated bamboo decks. These spots are designed to give visitors striking perspectives and perfect photo opportunities against the backdrop of the twin lakes.

This place is particularly popular at sunrise and sunset. Early mornings often bring mist and low-lying fog over the lakes and valleys, creating a mystical atmosphere and excellent conditions for dramatic photos.
