Paulina Katarina: Sophisticated And Chic Ladieswear
Surya Paulina and Ratna Katarina founded this sophisticated and chich ladies’ clothing brand.
We don’t know if it’s because they’re sisters or just because they’re geniuses but this is one of the most feminine offerings in the land.
They now have stores in Singapore, Malaysia and Jakarta as well as in Bali.
Don’t miss their signature collection, it’s to die for!

Erika is a world-famous designer, but her work is surprisingly affordable in this Bali boutique.
There’s a certain hint of raffish gypsy charm in her work and you’ll find that her designs are both elegant and graceful.
We like that she also has a jewellery line to accessorise with. It means that when we shop here, we always care about what else to buy for our new outfit.

The Best Art Gallery In Seminyak
Nyaman Gallery: Contemporary Modern Art
This gallery bills itself as “a pioneer of the international contemporary art gallery in Bali” and that’s about right.
Their name “Nyaman” means “cozy” in Bahasa and the space is bright, open and airy and effectively showcases the art they display.
As to whether it’s to your taste? Well, that depends on how “contemporary you like your art pieces.
Expect brash modernity rubbing shoulders with cynical surrealism and you won’t be disappointed.
We do like that there’s a good blend of local and international talent on display and they’re relying on something other than big overseas names to bring in their clients.
We note that this gallery almost always has offerings in all budget ranges. So, you can take home a souvenir from your trip here without breaking the bank.

Bintang Supermarket: The Easiest Place To Shop
If you need to go supermarket shopping in Seminyak then this is probably the best place to do it. It’s well located near other stores but has enough access to get out easily when you’ve done your shopping.
It was rebuilt and then reopened in mid-2022. The layout is warm and welcoming and everything looks fresh and clean and the aisles are now rather more spacious than they were before.
You can get almost anything you can get in a supermarket at home here including kitchenware, hardware and stationery.
One thing you should know is that you may be asked to stow any bags you have in a locker at the front of the store to keep theft to a minimum. It’s nothing personal, it’s company policy.
