Movement Matters Pilates

This studio focuses its efforts on the GYROTONIC and Rolfing programs of pilates.

It was nominated as one of the best pilates studios in Asia back in 2017 too.

The emphasis here is on small class sizes and personal attention. Of course, that means a slightly premium approach to pricing.

SAIA Pilates Renon

We love the view from the studio at SAIA Pilates Renon.

They can also offer access to a bean pool that lets you feel like you’re training on the beach, even though you’re in the city centre.

Their Instagram feed is worth following if you’re in Denpasar as they sometimes give away free classes on their feed!

The Collective Club Pilates Studio Bali

Note: Ubud Pilates has now closed down, according to TripAdvisor and this is now the best studio in Ubud.

If you want reformer pilates, you’ll find it at The Collective Club, which specializes in this pilates style.

They have four qualified reformer Pilates instructors and offer classes for all experience levels.

They say they offer a “semi-private session” in each class, allowing you to develop a strong relationship with your instructor over time. Reformer machine work and exercises can be done here too.

Be prepared to sweat while working out at this studio. It’s for something other than the more casual practitioner of pilates.
