Pilates Bali: The Best 8 Venues In Bali For Pilates

Finns Recreation Club

We may be biased, but we think the best “Pilates Bali” experience is our own.

You can join our Recreation Club and enjoy our Pilates studio classes with your Finns membership.

Finns are the best place to join classes and work on your core strength if you practice pilates regularly.

We also have yoga classes, a gym, and other sports and exercises you can complement your fitness regime with.

Body Pilates Studio

Offering both private and group classes, Body Pilates brings its versatile Pilates instructors to bear on any muscle issues you might be facing.

Your core muscles will benefit from their approach to mindful movement. It was possibly the first Pilates studio on the island too.

Movement Matters Pilates

This studio focuses its efforts on the GYROTONIC and Rolfing programs of pilates.

It was nominated as one of the best pilates studios in Asia back in 2017 too.

The emphasis here is on small class sizes and personal attention. Of course, that means a slightly premium approach to pricing.

Sunset Pilates Bali Studio

Sunset Pilates Bali is one of the most popular places to study mat pilates on the island.

They have beginner mat classes as well as more advanced mat pilates classes.

The Sunset Pilates Bali crew want to “reshape, rebalance and reform” the bodies of their trainees.

You can book a private session if you want something very advanced.

Sunset Pilates Bali has two locations, but we’ve listed our favourite Sunset Pilates Bali location below.

SAIA Pilates Renon

We love the view from the studio at SAIA Pilates Renon.

They can also offer access to a bean pool that lets you feel like you’re training on the beach, even though you’re in the city centre.

Their Instagram feed is worth following if you’re in Denpasar as they sometimes give away free classes on their feed!

The Collective Club Pilates Studio Bali

Note: Ubud Pilates has now closed down, according to TripAdvisor and this is now the best studio in Ubud.

If you want reformer pilates, you’ll find it at The Collective Club, which specializes in this pilates style.

They have four qualified reformer Pilates instructors and offer classes for all experience levels.

They say they offer a “semi-private session” in each class, allowing you to develop a strong relationship with your instructor over time. Reformer machine work and exercises can be done here too.

Be prepared to sweat while working out at this studio. It’s for something other than the more casual practitioner of pilates.
