No. While haggling for a cheaper rate is fine when you visit Bali and markets are perfect places for haggling, street food is an exception to this rule.

The prices are shown on the boards at each shop or in the stalls and they are fixed. Even locals don’t haggle over the cost of food at Kuta Night Market.

However, if you do any shopping for other things around this great place in Bali, then you should haggle as usual.

  • Dharmayana Temple—If you’re going to Kuta Night Market, you must visit the Dharmayan Buddhist Temple, which is almost next door. It’s interesting to see how Buddhism has influenced the local Hindi culture without overwhelming it (as it did in Myanmar, Thailand, and Cambodia).
