We’ve found 14 amazing places for you to stay where you can pay a single fee and enjoy a wealth of privileges for doing so.

About All Inclusive Resorts In Bali

A scenic view of Handara Golf Resorts green

It’s important to note that there is no standard definition of “all-inclusive resorts” for Indonesia or Bali, and that means what is included in the “all-inclusive resorts” packages can vary dramatically.

Some may include private airport transfers, and some may not. Some might offer room service in their deal, others may require you to go to the restaurant, some include spa treatments, and others do not and so on…

That means you need to check the deal that you’re being offered and go through the small print. The all-inclusive hotels in Bali all offer great value for money, but they don’t offer the same value for money.

We should also note that, technically, there are no all-inclusive resorts in Bali. Every hotel we list below has an all-inclusive package that they offer on top of their standard room rate.

All-inclusive rates are, thus, higher than the lowest nightly price, but an all-inclusive package usually represents better value for money if you intend to use the services provided in that all-inclusive package.

There’s no point in paying for all your meals and drinks to be included if you intend to eat out every night, for example.

By the way, if you’re looking for ways to save money on your trip, our guide to Bali on a budget can help you plan accordingly.

We should also point out that in addition to the list below, many hotels here offer packages that, while definitely not “all-inclusive”, do offer substantially better value for certain holidaymakers than the standard room.

It pays to shop around a little before deciding on where to stay and how to stay there.

FAQs

Does Bali Do All-Inclusive Resorts? Is All-Inclusive A Thing In Bali?

Bali doesn’t have any “all-inclusive resorts” per se, as they all offer room-only deals.

However, the all-inclusive resorts in Bali that are listed above do offer an all-inclusive package of some kind on top of their usual room service.

This means you pay an additional fee over the standard room rate to get all the additional services included in the price.

What Does All-Inclusive Mean In Bali?

There is no standard definition of all-inclusive resorts in Bali or Indonesia as a whole. If you intend to stay in one of the all-inclusive hotels listed above, we strongly recommend you check exactly what is included in the fee and what’s included.

It’s a bit late to complain about having to pay for drinks at the swim-up bar in a hotel if that’s what you agreed to when you took out the contract for your room.

How Much Is An All-Inclusive Holiday To Bali?

It very much depends on the specifics of the all-inclusive package and the individual hotel.

For example, the Meliã Bali offers a standard room for about $100 USD a night, but if you want breakfast included, that’s an extra $30 or so, and if you want an all-inclusive package, it’s an extra $150 or so.

You need to decide for yourself whether that represents value for money or not. Unlimited drinks, for example, including alcoholic beverages, are often quite expensive, whereas just soft drinks can be much cheaper.

How Do You Book An All-Inclusive Holiday In Bali?

We recommend that you book your stay at the all-inclusive resorts mentioned above through the Bali Res Centre.

They are a locally owned and operated travel agent that has excellent relationships with all the all-inclusive hotels on the island and can get you the best deal on your accommodation, your package and, indeed, your flights too.

If you book with the Bali Res Centre, you’re ensuring that your holiday spending stays in Bali and benefits the local economy.

Final Thoughts On All Inclusive Resorts In Bali

All-inclusive hotels and resorts in Bali can be a great option to make your holiday money go further.

If your ideal break is lounging by the pool or on the beach at the resort and enjoying everything the resort has to offer, they are a great deal.

However, if you don’t tend to spend very much time in the hotel, all-inclusive hotels aren’t such good value for money, and you might be better off booking a room-only deal instead.
