Bossman is all about premium burgers. There’s nothing that resembles the sad fare of McD’s here.
Their steak is aged in-house for 60 days before being shaped to go on a bun here. It’s awesome.

If you’re in the mood for a wood-fired pizza in a friendly, homely Italian-style place then you might like Casa Blanca Bali.

This cheerful but very good-quality Mexican place is a great place to go as a group or for a family night out.
The portions are very generous here and we can heartily recommend the sizzling fajitas.

The pork ribs at Warung Nia are really good but the best thing about this place is the low cost of the food which is still great quality.
They also offer a great range of vegetarian options if you want to stay away from the meat-based menu.

This upmarket and stylish French bistro is rarely packed out and that’s a surprise to us because the food is very, very good, indeed.
We like that they welcome you with a complimentary bowl of the soup of the day to give you an idea of what treats lie in store for you.
And while we adore their main menu, we confess that the star of the show for us is their creme brulee which is better than any creme brulee we’ve ever had before.

This is the ideal place to celebrate an anniversary or special occasion. We would also note that they have an amazing sunset view, so get there before the sun goes down.
It is quite spendy but try the crispy pork belly or their Tom Yum and you’ll soon see it’s great value for money.

Hibiscus Restaurant Seminyak
If you want cocktails and creative contemporary Balinese fare then Hibiscus is a great place to indulge your appetite!
The red tuna in tamarind sauce served on a banana leaf and accompanied by rice and beans is just superb.
Our kids are lifelong fans of their beef rendang too. Hibiscus is really pushing the frontiers of Indonesian food and doing it oh, so well.

The view from this pleasant rooftop bar in Seminyak is worth the price of admission but the food is surprisingly good too.
We love that they have live music most nights and their raisin mojito is one of our favourite cocktails on the island.
Their take on the British fish and chips is excellent.

There aren’t all that many Moroccan dining options in Bali but this is th best of them.
Tagine feels like a little slice of Marrakesh in Seminyak and the food is beautifully presented and delicious.

This hidden gem is well worth tracking down because the food is out of this world!
Their garlic prawns are marinadd in the finest garlic for hours and it’s so sumptuous that it’s hard not to eat this dish over and over again.
Do try their gado gado but leave some room for the pepes tuna, a Balinese spicy dish that just rocks.
