Bali Safari & Marine Park, East Bali

bali marine safari park

Here you can find wild animals like orangutans or Komodo dragons without flying to Borneo or Komodo Island. While it may not have thrilling rides, this theme park is a must to discover the amazing variety of fauna in Indonesia.

The highlight is definitely the safari experience you can book in the late evening, but even during the day, there are plenty of things to do with family: water park, educational presentation on marine life and mammals, petting zoo, Spinning Coaster rides, aquarium, photo zones, elephant and other animals activities, and more!

You can watch zoo keepers feed animals at certain times and enjoy your own meals at the restaurants.

If you or your kids love animals, check out their social media; they post lots of fun and curious facts!

Visiting Bali Safari is a whole day trip; we highly recommend staying somewhere on the East Coast to make the most of your visit and be able to explore it both during the day and at night (for the safari). There is a branded hotel on the park territory, too.

Waterbom Water Park, Kuta

waterbom bali

If you and your kids love water – and let’s be honest, on a hot day in Bali, being in the water is a blessing – Waterbom will blow your mind, and it will take you a few hours to discover all the 25+ slides and attractions here!

Kids absolutely love the Flowrider lazy river, Zuluu Hill (which is like a whole separate mini water park for kids), and the mini boomerang. Get ready to spend the whole day here, as kids will likely go 10+ times at each!

Adults can enjoy extremely speedy rides, too, or hang out at a swim-up bar sipping on refreshing drinks.

What we especially love about this place is that, aware of the environmental impact, they entertain us without forgetting to care for the island.

They aim to be completely sustainable by 2033 and already use solar, reduce carbon footprint, manage waste, reduce water consumption, recycle it, and so much more!

Krisna Funtasticland, Lovina

Krisna Funtasticland, Lovina

Krisna Funtasticland is a rather local amusement park with a limited number of attractions, but it can still be fun, especially considering it is the only theme park in North Bali.

The highlights here are the real plane model to get in the pilot’s seat and get a photo in the cockpit, a Ferris wheel to look over the northern hills and the Indian Ocean, and a few kids’ rides. There is also a large souvenir shop in front of the park’s territory.

It’s only open from 4 to 10 at night, unlike other theme parks, and usually has very few visitors.

Where Is It? Temukus, Banjar, Buleleng Regency, Bali 81152, Indonesia

Ticket price: 75,000 IDR (7.5 AUD) seems to be the price for kids and adults.
