This smoker-friendly lounge and bar on the main street is one of the most popular cafes in the area among both locals and tourists.
The kitchen cooks great steaks, BBQ, and Indonesian food, and the bar has daily happy hours. Our personal recommendation is BBQ pork ribs paired with ice-cold beer!

Crazy Kangaroo
Restaurant and sports bar with large screen to watch sporting events, pool tables, board games and darts to play with friends or family, and daily live music in the evenings. On Sundays, you can watch a traditional Legong dance show too.
The restaurant is very cozy with a nice koifish pond and serves fresh fish and seafood, Balinese and Western dishes, and the street-side bar welcomes everyone who loves cocktails and cold beer.

Another spot for lovebirds is Lezat – sitting right on the coast, it is a great location to watch sunset, enjoy a glass of wine and try the fine-dining a la Balinese – the generous rijsttafel spread of goodness or simply book a candelight dinner!
They do, however, have a bit higher price tag than other cafes and restaurants in the area, so make sure to check their socials or website: sometimes they have special discounts and promos on locally produced wine and beers.

Crowd-favorite pizza restaurant and sports bar in the Eastern part of the island. The wood-fired pizza oven is an interesting object here, decorated with a mosaic by hand, which just adds so much warmth to the place!
Amazing food and service, cheap beers, and NRL sports broadcasts make it a perfect spot to relax after a busy day of exploring on vacation.

The 48 Shisha and Resto
If you love shisha, the 48 is probably the only restaurant in Candidasa that will be a good choice. They have a nice laid-back atmosphere with background music, great food (and reasonably priced), and a beautiful garden.
And in terms of shisha, it is the real deal! A swimming pool and Nusa islands views are surely a nice bonus too.
They open till 11 PM and are close to the hotels in Candidasa, so it will be very safe to get back to your room after dinner.

Night Diving – The True Gem Of Candidasa Nightlife
Experienced divers are welcome to explore the underwater world at night from Candidasa to Padang Bai.
If you can dive deep, the guides may even take you to see some sharks hiding in the caves at Gili Tepekong, Gili Biaha, and coral reefs out in the ocean. You should also check out the Tulamben dive spot to see the famous Liberty shipwreck and Amuk Bay.
Watch The Stars At White Sand Beach
Candidasa is so calm and the air here is so clean, that after the village goes to sleep (around 10 PM), you can see the whole sky spark up with mirryads of stars.

As Candidasa beaches are not that beautiful, you can drive 20 minutes to catch some falling stars over the Virgin beach (White sand beach).
