Tips For Visiting Water Parks In Bali

  • Slides can have weight and height restrictions. Those standards are international and are crucial to follow. Usually, adults under 136 kg can enjoy all the slides, and kids under 80 cm can’t go on the slides, but are more than welcome to enjoy the kids’ area.

  • Kids under a certain age can have free entry, but it depends on the park. Waterbom only allows kids under 2 for free.

  • You can save money if you use daily promos. Visit the official website of the park you’re interested in to get the updates.

  • Do not rely on information on travel aggregators, they often bulk up the lists with parks that are closed.

  • Some parks have a strict policy about food and drinks – you won’t be able to bring them in.

  • Do not wear jewellery or anything that can get stuck while you’re sliding down.

  • There is currently no Canggu water park so plan to drive 1-1.5 hrs to the closest waterpark.

  • The daily pass price starts from 50,000 IDR (5 AUD/3 USD).

Waterbom Park Bali, Kuta

Waterbom Bali has Asia’s steepest slide and made it to the top 5 best waterparks both in Asia and in the world in 2023, above some parks in Abu Dhabi!

Waterbom is located in Kuta, right next to the Kuta beach and Discovery Mall, and is open all year round, except Nyepi, to visitors and events (think about a birthday at a water park – a child’s dream!) since 1993.

Tickets are available via the official website and on the spot. If you have KITAS, you will get a discount. A ticket is valid for the whole day and all the park areas and slides. The prices start from 495,000 IDR (47 AUD/32 USD).

The 5 hectares of exciting attractions at Waterbom do not disappoint. There are 14 water rides, 3 pools with lounge chairs, 2 different kids’ areas with kiddy slides for children under 4, and the newest Aqua Play. The major attractions are Flow Rider and Euro Bungy.

All the rides are ranked from mellow to extreme. For example, lazy rivers are mellow, but twin racers, double twist, and green vipers are extreme and will have a height limitation. Flow Rider is a lot of fun for anyone who loves surfing or snowboarding.

Having a family day out? Rent a VIP comfy gazebo with your private lounge area, a safe, charging slots, a mini fridge, and a shower near the slides you and your kids love.

And if you are hungry there are many dining options, including cafes and pool bars with delicious food and cocktails.

Special mention goes to their dedication to using sustainable water and electric consumption practices. They also aim to become completely carbon-neutral in the future.

Bali Wake Park & AQUALAND

Bali Wake Park is located on the east coast, in the Benoa area. It is the only place in Bali where you enjoy a massive 5-hectare lake to practice all of your favourite water sports: knee boarding, wakeboarding, water skiing, and skurfing.

Don’t worry if it is your very first time – all the activities are beginner-friendly and there will be an instructor nearby at all times.

Done with sport for the day? Chill in the infinity pool, grab lunch at the restaurant, or relax by the pool bar.

AQUALAND is a large inflatable water park, unique to Bali, where kids and adults can play chase, jumping over obstacles and sliding from the rides up to 8m high – it is so much fun if you’re coming with a whole family!

Adults and kids older than 6 years old are allowed to use the aqua park and the extreme activities.

Both kids and adults have free entry and you only pay for the activities you choose. 1 hour at the cable park is 400,000 IDR (38 AUD/ 27 USD). A day pass is more cost-efficient.

After a fun day, you can order some Indonesian food in the restaurant on the premises. For the little ones, there is a safe indoor kid’s playground as well.

Water Parks In Bali We Don’t Recommend

Nirmala Water Park was quite popular in the past, but unfortunately, it lacks maintenance the facilities have become dangerous and the pool water is very dirty as reported by many of our readers.

Note that despite tickets being still available for sale online, Circus Waterpark has been permanently closed for a good while already, so no more speed slider, unfortunately.
