Yes! Bali is awesome for children and Canggu is too. Canggu’s great for kids because there’s a lot of great accommodation suitable for a family holiday, the local people are always pleased to see children and there’s plenty to see and do (as you can see from the list above).

Which Beach Is Best For Families In Canggu?
We should note that all the beaches in Canggu are pleasant for children to play on nd build sandcastles, etc. but that none of them is safe for kids to go swimming.
Underneath the waves is not a lazy river but rather a violent current that can easily pull an experienced adult swimmer out to sea.
It’s best to stick to the hotel pool if you’re staying in the area.
As for which beach is best? Batu Bolong is the busiest and can be quite intimidating for young children, Berawa is lovely and has an amazing sunset view, and Nelayan Beach is also a good option as it’s the quietest of Canggu’s beaches.
Is It Better To Stay In Seminyak Or Canggu?
We prefer Canggu to Seminyak. There’s more to do in the area but you can still find rice paddies and other bits of nature around and it’s the perfect place for a base to see the rest of the island from.
Parents will love all the kid-friendly establishments in Canggu and will be able to relax and eat at the restaurants, sun on the beach and much more.
Which Part Of Bali Is Child-Friendly?

FINNS Beach Club has a policy of admitting children at this moment in time. However, from May 1st, 2025 children aged under 16 will no longer be allowed in the beach club.
That’s simply because FINNS is very popular with a young crowd who like to drink and party and young kids might find it intimidating or offputting.
It’s best to save this super cool spot within walking distance of Berawa Beach for the time when your kids start to turn into adults.
